Shovel Knight - A Review by 24BitGamer

24 Bit Review - Shovel knight
Adapted for website from Facebook by Nate

As of late its not that uncommon of a practice for game company's especially indie ones to do a throwback to retro games and new game developer Yacht Club is no exception. Shovel Knight was a Kickstarter that was asking only $75,000.00 to get going and was far surpassed by people reaching almost $300,000.00. Needless to say there was a high expectation for this game. I am happy to say that Yacht Club delivered!

Assassin's Fist - Street Fighter Fans Rejoice!

By Nate Originally posted on RetroNate.blogspot.com
"A live action Street Fighter Movie that DOESN'T SUCK! Sorry Jean Claude!"

Can it be true? A live action Street Fighter that doesn't suck? Street Fighter Assassin's Fist ventures to go where no Street Fighter movie has gone before. From the ashes of "The Legend of Chun Li" and "Street Fighter" Starring Jean Claude Van Damme, can a Kick Starter concept do what it's multimillion dollar counterparts could not - make a Street Fighter movie that doesn't suck?

River City Pickups - Genesis!!!

Episode One - Guest Starring R.O.B!

The Canadian Retro Gaming Professors joined forces under the banner of River City Pickups on YouTube! The Genesis (get it?) of their channel was this pickup video featuring that which saved home retro gaming for all of Canada (and the world!)

Retro Gaming Bloggers Unite - Boys Night Out

Written by Nate
Since the days pioneers like Angry Video Game Nerd and Pat the NES Punk began video blogging about retro video games on YouTube, it has grown to an informal community of like minded fans, like some digital shanty town. This has led to a few channels actually meeting up in person and partying like it's 1999!

A Crossover of epic proportions - 64BitMatthew and Thriftdweller live cities apart, but that wouldn't stop this undeniable attraction of two YouTube channels coming together in a multi video series series called "BOYS NIGHT OUT!"

The Gameboy Advance E-Reader  was an add-on for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) released in 2002. One of the things E-Reader did was allow you to play brand new levels in Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3. What does this mean? Let our friend Andrew show you in Part 1 of his series...

Stay tuned to our FACEBOOK page for future instalments or check out AndrewsGamesDisplay's YouTube channel for the rest of his series.
